Sleep, why don't I just go to sleep???

Why don't I just go to sleep? I'm tired as hell. My eyes are burning because they need sleep. I have no idea why I fight it so much. I just can't sleep unless i'm totally exhausted. I used to live in a place where you couldn't sleep at night. There was a bum that lived in the abandoned building next to us. I was afraid to sleep as the bum may get me. He would shout out random cuss words about how cold it was outside. I had to call the cops several times. I could be captain obvious here, but, I think he may have been insane.
