So, I wake up today and need to work out. I have been lifting since I can't train my true love, grappling. I thought that it would be a good idea to try a new energy drink. Boy was I wrong. I tried a drink called REDLINE. Do not drink it. I had a upset stomach and thought I was going to hurl. I didn't only by forcing myself. I was so hyped up I should have just done a few lines of coke. It wouldn't have lasted as long. I am still a little jittery as I type this. It's been four hours. My god I had to go home and smoke a fat bowl just to get my stomach to settle. Yea, that's my excuse for getting high. A true addict always has some reason!

That's another thing. I am totally addicted to pot. A "pothead" if you will. I'm back to smoking and like a true addict, I can't control it. Not that it's effecting my life. It's just that I don't want to be a doper. Mark my words, as soon as I get back to training, I'm done with the weed. It has a bad effect on my cardio and if I'm training, I can't be having that.

So today my wife wants a dishwasher moved. I can't help. I'm on crutches. I try to get my friend to help over and over. I call, I instant message...the kids knock on his door, nothing. Well, she gets all mad and hyped up and says that she's gonna' move it herself. I laugh and think that I can't wait to see this.

The dishwasher isn't heavy at all. In fact, it's quite light. The wife is only 5'2 and not very strong. I'm thinking there is no way that she's taking this thing from the porch to the car. Well, I was wrong.

She heaves this thing up and it looks like it may rip her arms right out from her shoulders, however, she trucked that bad boy all the way to the car. I was then able to go out to the car, did I say go? I meant hobble out to the car and help lift it in the trunk.

There is no end to what people can do if they put their minds to it. I was very impressed. I didn't think she had it in her. She's a tough ole' bird!!!

So........kudos to you wife. You worked very hard today and got the job done.

And let me tell you. If you can avoid knee surgery. Do it. It's not fun. In fact, it's miserable. I have been feeling terrible for a week now. No shower and I'm starting to get gross. My wife says she's going to help me take a bath tonight. Yes!!

Funny how you lose the ability to walk and the only thing you want to do it bath. I just don't want to smell. I have laid in this bed like a corpse in a coffin for a week. I'm ripe, pluck me!

Oh, you don't know know what the Krackens are? Well, fine, I'll tell you. Remember an old show called Clash of the Titans? Well, I do. I grew up watching that baby on HBO. It was a show about Greek mythology. I loved it. In the show Perseus has to find a way to defeat the Kracken. The Kracken would come and destroy entire cities. He was a giant beast.

Well, a long time ago, a group of us started using this term when we would have to kick someone's ass. We all bounced in clubs and if we had to "release the Kracken", it would mean that we got to beat someone up. I would say shit like, "Don't make me get out the conk shell". That was how Poseidon called the Kracken. He would use a conk shell.

Back to the story. This girl comes and gets me. She's all frantic, like dumb people are when they see people getting ready to fight. She rushes me over to the pool tables. I see some douche talking shit to a black dude. Big deal. I separate them, yes by myself, and they both go their separate ways. Total pussy shit. They were playing the game where each person takes turns telling each other how tough they are. I call it the "I'll kick your ass, no I'll kick your ass game".

Anyway, I go over to this white guy and ask him what the problem is. He responds with this..."Ahh, he was just trying to pull some nigger shit on me". My eyes go wide. Ok, we are DOWNTOWN CINCINNATI. For anyone that is not familiar with the area, it's mostly black. There have been many race riots here and the race relations are not the greatest. For those familiar with the area, the club I work at is located in Over the Rhine. Yes, technically it's in that area. So, needless to say....This is NOT the area to be talking shit about black people, much less dropping a word like nigger all around.

I tell the guy that I'm not trying to hear that bullshit and to just back the fuck up and not fight. Ok, things are solved for the moment, however, a guy like this, in a place like this is but a ticking time bomb. Half our customers are black and he's a racist, how long you think this is going to last. You're right, not long.

I hear the call, "Party on the dancefloor". That's our DJ's code for a fight. I rush up and guess who's in this exchange. Yep, Mr. KKK himself into it with some black guy. He tries to swing on the guy and I grab him and choke the ever loving shit outta' him. You know, standard procedure. I then wack him a couple times with my fist. Not hard, just enough to get him to comply with my directives. You know, an attitude adjustment. He got drug out and left and nothing else happened. I just knew he would be a problem. Sometimes you can just tell that some assholes looking for trouble.

It was my last night working in the club. I have surgery on Thurs. and won't be able to walk for a bit, much less throw out drunks. I hope things go well and this surgery is much less painful than the last. My right knee was the worst thing I have ever had to endure.

I just finished watching this movie. Pretty good. It was a love story. I don't understand what Johnny Cash was taking. Was it cocaine? I'm thinking it was, in the pill form.

I'm wanting to go get Donkey Kong...oops, I mean King Kong. I think I'll enjoy watching it. More so at home than in a movie theater. Imagine sitting there for three solid hours. Forget that.

I'm betting it'll be a one watcher. I have classifications that I have for movies. If it's a one watcher, that means that it's a good movie and you can see it once with no problem. In fact, I have many one watchers that I recommend. Now, if you can watch it more than once, it's a good movie. If you have to buy it, it's a must own. There are very few movies I can watch multiple times. I have some favorites though. My family knows what they are.....they get sick of me putting them in the DVD player, over and over.

What can I say? I love some movies. I've always been a movie buff and probably always will.

I worked as a bouncer at a strip club when I was in law school, and one night I saw our head bouncer get KTFO by our feature dancer.

She and her new boyfriend were having a pretty wild argument on the sidewalk when our fearless leader came charging out the front door, pushed me aside, took three big steps and caved the guy's cheek in with a right hand sucker punch.

Needless to say, Candi (or Buffy, or Bambi, or whatever the fuck she called herself) was not amused and slapped Wild Willie (yes, that was his name) across the face. He, in turn, spit in her face, prompting her to throw a left uppercut that clipped Willie right under the chin and knocked him cold.

With both of them lying on the sidewalk, she simply turned around and hopped into a cab. As it was pulling away from the club, she rolled down the window and yelled, "Tae-Bo, bee-yatch!!!"

So, I'm at Judo last night. We are doing takedowns, you know, sparring. I go for a throw and I hear and feel a loud pop. Great. I knew what it was. My other knee. I have already had surgery on my right knee. I guess it's my left's turn.

I don't understand why my knees are so brittle. I'm very strong in the upper body and legs. Why did my knees get the shaft? Oh well, I will survive. Mark my words, I will be back on the mat. If I have to duct tape my legs together, I'll be on the mat. I don't care what it takes. Life is not going to rob me of one of my joys.

DAMMIT, I sure hope I don't have to have surgery on the left one. We'll see. I'm going to the Dr. soon.

I'm so tired of the utility company charging and arm and a leg for me to heat my home. This month they charged us $200 for natural gas. MOTHERFUCKER that's high. It makes our overall bill around 300, which is too much. I'll be glad when summer gets here. The air conditioner doesn't take near as much money to run.

Sorry, I have to have heat. My bad. I get cold when it's ball freezing outside. I guess we need some form of heat that doesn't cost as much. I have no idea what that is, I just know we need it.

I don't think my wifey will let us have a kerosene heater. She has a baby brother and her dad left the Kerosene heater on for too long and choked the boy to death. They lived in a small ass place and I guess the boy suffocated. Sad story really. So, she isn't having a Kerosene heater. I can't say I blame her.

On a side note. I'm thinking about becoming a corrections officer. I stopped smoking weed so it's really become a option. The only training or schooling I have in life is on how to control people physically. Well, that doesn't come into play much with your everyday life jobs.

I have a few buddies that already work at the county jail and they say that they could get me on fairly easy. I hope so. I think it would be a nice fit for me. I'll let you all know how it goes. Time will tell.

New Job

So, I'm working downtown now. I worked one night a week, however, I'm now working three. I'll make more money in those three nights than I did in two weekends at the job I got fired from.

In a way, I'm glad I got fired. Now I can make some more loot and not have to deal with he bullshit that is Metropolis. I hated that club and it's bullshit rules anyway. They wouldn't let you do your job and they always tried to make me kick out black people that didn't deserve it.

They had a policy, if you were black, find a reason to kick you out. Well, that shit isn't fair. I'm not really a fan of the African Americans, but that doesn't mean that I think they should be treated differently. I have a few black friends and if they knew of this they would be disappointed in me.

I'm glad it's over. The mang. keeps telling one of the other employees that I'll call and apologize for the things I said to him. Yea right. Dream on. I called him a two faced bitch and a few other things. I wanted him to get red with me so I could beat his ass. It didn't work. It's gonna' be a cold day in hell before I apologize to that two faced prick.

If any of you know me, You know how long I can hold a grudge. Hell, I didn't talk to my father for over 13 years because he pissed me off. This prick mang. is going to be dead to me for at least two decades.

I just got fired from one of my bouncing jobs. Can you believe it? What a crock of shit. The manager fired me out of the blue. I choked some guy tonight and he saw it. He has told us not to choke anyone, but, guess what, I made 8 bucks an hour. I wasn't about to take any chances for that little amount of loot. I guess it's easy come, easy go. I'm going to try and find something else. We'll see how it goes. I 'll keep you informed.

Back to Judo.

I'm back training Judo. The word Judo means "gentle way". It is anything but gentle. If you don't believe me, visit your local Judo club and find out the meaning of pain. You get thrown over and over and over and over and over...In fact, the entire night consists of you getting the every loving shit tossed out of you.

Why do I do it? Hell I don't know. I work in a job that requires that I be trained. If I enjoyed getting my ass kicked at work then I wouldn't train at all. I can't deal with that so I put myself through rigorous training so that when drunk asshole wants to talk shit, I can slam dunk him on the concrete floor. That tends to take the fight right outta' people. Like my Judo teacher always says, when you have to hit someone, hit them with the biggest thing you can find, the Earth.

So now I'm off to Judo. I never feel older than when I'm done with practice. I spend the next two days recovering. I have the body of Greek gods, why does it not repair itself in a timely fashion? Maybe I need some more Flintstones vitamin's.

Damn. Here I thought I was going to get paid more with some special assignment. Wrong. All I did was walk around with my plain clothes on and bust underage drinkers. Boooring. Oh well, still got paid the same. I was kinda' disappointed, but, not too much. Money is money, ya' know?

I'm beat the hell up. I have trained so much this week I just can't take much more. I went to Judo Mon. night, MMA Tues. morning and Submission Grappling Tues. Night. Then trained last night and probably will stay and wrestle tonight. I don't know how much more my body can take. I feel so old sometimes. You only live once, right?

I can't wait until I can play some poker again. I played a little while ago and did quite well. I wish I could play more often. Too bad I have so many other things to do in life. The kids start soccer soon. That should be an adventure. I'll keep you informed.

1: Ninjas are afraid of water. It's true. Ninjas are such wussies they are completely afraid of water. Hell, Ninjas don't even swim, nor take bathes. Not only are Pirates constantly exposed to water, but they also go into the oceans to wrestle sharks with like friggin tooth picks and a piece of rope. How many times have you seen a Ninja take on a shark? Never, because Ninjas are wussies.

2:The Height difference. Ninjas are short by nature. Ninjas are very short and can't ride bumper cars. Not only can pirates ride bumper cars but when they get on the track, every one knows their shit is about to get ruined. While the Ninja is brutally attacking a pirate's knee cap, the pirate can smoke his cobb pipe then slam his friggin hook through the Ninjas punk-ass eye ball.

3:Ninjas gotta train. Yes, Ninjas train for years to get those whackass skills that they have. A Pirate does not. From the day a pirate is born, he comes out with high boots and a razor sharp sword. At the age of 3 months a pirate has been know to lose his virginity and adopt a pirate vessel and crew. Ever hear of baby Ninjas ruining shit? No you don't, because they're wussies. Complaining all the time "My leg muscles are not developed enough to walk yet...boo whooo... I'm hungry boo whoo, I shit my self..boo whoo" You never hear a pirate complaining about accidentally crapping himself, because he does that shit on purpose.

4: Ancestral Worship. Ninjas are always praying to their ancestors, who supposedly were so great. Why don't pirates? Because Pirates ancestors aren't dead. Because they don't friggin suck. Never will you see a pirate crying over a loved one, like Ninjas do. Because they're not 4 foot punks who have mastered their grip on a chop stick. Pirates flat out know they are the shits and plan to ruin yours.

5: A movie about Pirates Vs Ninjas. There is no such movie, although one was proposed. In the proposed version the Ninjas beat the pirates, but every producer in the industry read the script and were like " yeah, as if a Ninja could ruin a pirates shit" because..face it..every one knows a Ninja is a wuss compared to a pirate. If a fight ever did break out, while the Ninja was swinging around his sword to show his skills like a dumbass, the pirate would shoot the Ninja right in the friggin holster. And this is why Pirates own your ass.

I work in an 18 and up club. I'm a bouncer. We have a very strict dress code that we enforce. Well, some of the young people just don't like it. They feel they have to look like slobby thugs. Ok, whatever, not my problem.

I kick this guy out last night for his shirt that could fit me and another bouncer. He gets outside and tells the front door manager that "that old man" kicked me out. He was talking about me. Damn that little bastard. I realize that I have a beard and a balding head, but I'm not old. Not yet. I'm only 31. Talk about a kick to the balls.

The rest of the night I was like, man, I'm the old guy. I'm glad I don't try to talk to girls. You know I'd scare the hell outta' a little 18 year old fresh out of high school. I'd be the creepy old guy.

Don't come in the club again you little bastard. This old guy still has a lot of ass kickin' left in him. I'll bring my damn cane to work tonight. Maybe he'd like a ride on my walker?

I bought what I thought was going to be a cool gift for my daughter. Turns out my son loves it and the daughter hates it. The problem is, it's a kids ballet instructional. I know, don't worry. It's not a big deal and I agree. Still damn funny to see my boy dancing and singing with Bella Dancerella. He knows all the words and the dance moves. He practices.

I asked him what he liked, the girls, music or the songs. He said...I like it all! Funny. I'm hoping he's just digging chicks in leotards. (crosses fingers)

The only thing I wish they would stop doing is calling me "nigga". I don't get it. I got called this at least five times last night. I'm a white guy with a shaved head. I'm also 32 years old.

I guess I just don't understand the terminology. If someone can explain this I would be very interested.

So, I was messing around the other day and came across someone that I used to be friends with. It turns out, I still am!! Nat used to live down the road from me. I like her a lot and thought she was very cool.

Well, people grow up and find different paths. That's how life works. I never thought I would hear from her again until I got her email. I emailed her a letter and she answered back. Guess what??? She didn't hate me. Most people from my past don't like me at all. I was quite a little bastardo in my youth.

Nat is married and living in Cali. Good for her! I love it when I get back with someone that I used to know. I feel like only a few people on earth can realize and relate to the shit hole place I come from. I hope that we can correspond for sometime and get to know each other again.

Never ceases to amaze me when I hear about the people from my past. Their lives can be very similar to mine. As long as we all escaped Sullivan, IL...It was like a black hole. That town sucked my will to live. I'm glad we are free!!!

Holy shit...I'm still wiggin' out.

I hear my mang. say that this guys out and to get the cops. I do and we go in. They are doing CPR on the guy.

He is blue as hell with a face white as a ghost. They try CPR until the squad gets there. Then they use the defribulator on him. You know, the thing that shocks the heart. That doesn't work.

Then, they get a big ass needle out and inject him with what I would assume was adrenilin. No luck. Nothing works. They cart his lifeless body off.

I pray for his family.

The guy was born in 1979. Some of his friends said that he has had blood pressure problems in the past. People that were around him said that he just fell out and busted his head on the ground. There was no blood externally.

All I could think was....If someone was to bring a gun in, that could be one of us (the bouncers) laying there, dead.

Sure makes me value my life when I see shit like this go down.

Jesus 'healed using cannabis'

Jesus w as almost certainly a cannabis user and an early proponent of the medicinal properties of the drug, according to a study of scriptural texts published this month. The study suggests that Jesus and his disciples used the drug to carry out miraculous healings.

The anointing oil used by Jesus and his disciples contained an ingredient called kaneh-bosem which has since been identified as cannabis extract, according to an article by Chris Bennett in the drugs magazine, High Times, entitled Was Jesus a Stoner? The incense used by Jesus in ceremonies also contained a cannabis extract, suggests Mr Bennett, who quotes scholars to back his claims.

Article continues "There can be little doubt about a role for cannabis in Judaic religion," Carl Ruck, professor of classical mythology at Boston University said.

Referring to the existence of cannabis in anointing oils used in ceremonies, he added: "Obviously the easy availability and long-established tradition of cannabis in early Judaism _ would inevitably have included it in the [Christian] mixtures."

Mr Bennett suggests those anointed with the oils used by Jesus were "literally drenched in this potent mixture _ Although most modern people choose to smoke or eat pot, when its active ingredients are transferred into an oil-based carrier, it can also be absorbed through the skin".

Quoting the New Testament, Mr Bennett argues that Jesus anointed his disciples with the oil and encouraged them to do the same with other followers. This could have been responsible for healing eye and skin diseases referred to in the Gospels.

"If cannabis was one of the main ingredients of the ancient anointing oil _ and receiving this oil is what made Jesus the Christ and his followers Christians, then persecuting those who use cannabis could be considered anti-Christ," Mr Bennett concludes.

Another year. Here we go. It's crazy how the years go so damn fast now that I'm older. Time used to stand still when I was a youngster. I can remember spending night after night at the old cemetery drinking and telling tall tales. Those were the days.

I used to have a best friend. Now, I still have best friends, however, this guy was one of the people that you meet in your life that you can really relate to. He did a dick tuck and went back to mummy's wing. After that, he had the nerve to say that I was "bringing him down". So, that was the end of our friendship. I'd like to smack the fuck outta' his face just for being that way. I miss hanging out.

This year I have made the choice to try and change a few things about me. One, I'm tired of being over weight. Now I'm not fat by any means, don't get me wrong. It's just that I have a little belly and I shouldn't. I train like a mad man and it will go away, with proper diet. You'll see, I'm gonna' be beach ready by this summer!!

One of the other things that I will change is this... If I can let it slide, then let it be. That's my mantra. If you can let it slide, then let it. I say that over and over to myself. Don't let the little things get to ya. If they truly don't matter, then don't give a fuck about it. This is a work in progress and I'll let ya' know how it goes.
